Our Organization

Summit Achievement is a licensed residential treatment center located in the beautiful White Mountains region of Maine.  It is a unique program that combines the power of wilderness therapy, the clinical complexity of a residential treatment center and the course work of a non-traditional private school.

Alumni Reunion former studentsHistory

For over 21 years, Summit Achievement has offered an established residential treatment, academic and wilderness therapy program that embraces far more than the positive impact of the wilderness. Founders Chris Mays, Adam Tsapis, and Will White instituted a model where parent involvement and mental health professionals, paired with  the transformative power of the wilderness, are key in ensuring long lasting and meaningful change for youth.
